7th Payment from Trekpay

I just received my seventh payment from Trekpay this morning. It took me longer than usual because I wasn’t able to work online for over a month.

Here’s my proof of payment :

While watching TV last night, there was a breaking news about an accident in La Union wherein a bus rammed into a tree, killing 11 of its passengers and injuring 20 others. According to reports, it was a tour bus from Baguio and that passengers were on their way home to Laguna. I initially thought about the Visita Iglesia tour in our parish. You see, our parish church has been announcing for weeks that there will be Visita Iglesia tour in Baguio. Whenever they would make the announcement, my husband and I would say, that if our finances will allow, it be great for our kids to experience a Catholic tradition that has long been practiced. Vista Iglesia is practiced during the Lenten season were people visit at least seven different churches for the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and in contemplation of the Fourteen Stations of the Cross.

I tried right away to research more about the accident but since it happened only a few hours when the news broadcast was made, I couldn’t find anything about it online.

This morning, when we attended mass, the sad news was confirmed and it was really heartbreaking to hear that a whole family was among those who perished in the accident. The priest (who was also part of the tour but was riding a different bus) was holding back his tears throughout the mass. We can all feel his grief especially when he was saying his final blessings at the end of the mass.

To the family of those who died, my prayers are with you. May God comfort you and give you the strength to go through this diffult time.

Please say a simple prayer for the eternal repose of the souls of those who perished in this unfortunate accident.
